Job summary

SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION is seeking an experienced equipment inspector/technician to support infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will inspect excavators and cranes, diagnose faults, replace faulty parts, and coordinate with suppliers for major repairs.

Routine servicing, cleaning and timely reporting ensure project reliability. With 10+ years of total experience and at least 8 years in Singapore, you will navigate regulations and equipment specs, communicating clearly with Management to

• Requires strong communication skills to liaise with Management and vendors.
• Experience in equipment inspection, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of regulations and safety standards for heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Implement and conduct construction equipment inspection and audit for infrastructure projects in Singapore.
• Diagnose faults from heavy equipment and adjust/replace faulty parts as needed.
• Repair damaged components and coordinate with suppliers for major repairs.
• Perform routine services, cleaning and lubrication on equipment.
• Report inspection findings to Management and contribute to audit reports.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and conduct construction equipment (mainly excavator and cranes) inspection and audit for infrastructure projects in Singapore (4 on-going projects)
• Diagnosing faults from company's heavy equipment
• Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts (for minor faults)
• Repairing damaged equipment parts if damages are minor
• Arranging and coordinating with machinery and suppliers for repairing damaged equipment, if damages are major
• Cleaning, lubricating and conducting routine services on equipment
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Management
• Generate and report audit finding to Management
• Participate in major vendors / equipment assessment, selection and evaluation
• Review and evaluate projects to identify key issues and areas for improvement-develop and implement action plans to resolve issues
• Review site investigate report and provide technical input
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Min. 10+ years of total relevant experience and at least 8+ years' relevant experience in Singapore for equipment and machinery management & maintenance
• Good communication skill
• Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations and good knowledge of equipment and machinery requirements and specifications
