Job summary

China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a site Equipment Inspector & Manager to perform routine inspections of cranes, piling machines, excavators, gensets, forklifts, and other site machinery at Jurong Port.

You will review electrical and hydraulic systems, maintain inspection records, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Proactive problem solving and accurate reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction equipment operation and safety management.
• Knowledge of equipment safety regulations and inspection procedures.

• Proficient in maintaining equipment records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of site equipment (cranes, piling machines, excavators, gensets, forklifts, welding machines, etc.).
• Check equipment condition including electrical and hydraulic systems for safe operation.
• Monitor maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs, repair history, and equipment certificates.

Job description

JD:

1. Equipment Inspection & Management

   • Conduct routine and periodic inspections of construction equipment, including cranes, piling machines, excavators, generators, forklifts, welding machines, and other site machinery.

   • Check equipment condition, safety devices, electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.

2. Equipment Maintenance & Safety

   • Monitor equipment maintenance and repair activities to ensure machinery remains in good working condition.

   • Identify equipment defects, follow up on corrective actions, and ensure all equipment complies with project safety requirements and relevant regulations.

3. Documentation & Records

   • Maintain equipment inspection records, maintenance logs, repair history, equipment certificates, and other related documentation.

   • Organize and update equipment records to support project audits and inspections.

4. Coordination & Site Support

   • Coordinate with project teams, HSE personnel, equipment suppliers, rental companies, and maintenance contractors to support equipment inspections, repairs, and safe site operations.

   • Assist in equipment allocation and perform other equipment management duties assigned by the project management team.

Job Requirements:

• Familiar with construction equipment operation, maintenance, and safety management requirements.
• Good knowledge of relevant construction equipment safety regulations and inspection procedures.
• Strong site inspection, problem-solving, and hazard identification skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain equipment records and reports.
• The work place is located at Jurong Port site.
