Role:
Construction Engineer (Up to $4800)
Support Manager on contractors/consultants sourcing, inquiry package issuing, work scope clarification, and evaluation & selection.
Coordinate with all disciplines within company (OPS, ENG, PSM, EHS etc.) and contractors/consultants, to ensure the design meets cost targets and client requirements.
Handling of issued drawings, MSRA, SWP etc. to ensure proper project documentation management is put in place.
Working closely with contractors/consultants, clients and/or PMC to plan ahead and schedule critical work paths in order to avoid delays or obstructions on mechanical completion.
Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work progress, site labour force and any work of subcontractors.
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Assist Manager to monitor and manage the overall construction cost, including contractors/consultants' progress billing, construction expenses and cost of variation order.
Prepare and submit the weekly and monthly progress construction reports to management.
To follow up and arrange with all parties for weekly/monthly progress meeting.
Ensure project execution adheres to the tender drawings.
Coordinate with contractors/consultants and the client throughout project commissioning stage to ensure compliance with the contractual performance bond requirements.
Coordinate the project handover in accordance with the Project Development SOP.
To undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management, from time to time.
