SCT ENGINEERING PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Construction Drafter to prepare and revise construction, shop and detailed drawings using AutoCAD for Singapore projects, translating requirements into precise plans. You will coordinate drawings with project managers, site supervisors, consultants and subcontractors; update drawings to reflect site conditions and approved changes; prepare as-built drawings after completion; and assist with submissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in architectural, civil engineering, building or drafting.
• Preferably with experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods and building details is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to read and coordinate with project and site teams.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise construction drawings, shop drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare architectural, structural and other construction-related drawings based on project requirements.
• Prepare layout plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
• Review architectural, structural and M&E drawings and identify drawing discrepancies.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers, site supervisors, consultants and subcontractors.
• Update drawings according to site conditions, consultant comments and approved changes.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon completion of works.
• Assist the project team in drawing submissions and revisions.
• Maintain proper drawing records, drawing registers and document control.
• Conduct site visits and take site measurements when required.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications and requirements.
• Assist in quantity measurement and material calculation based on drawings when required.
• Perform other drafting and project coordination duties as assigned by the company.

Education

Diploma / Certificate in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Building, Drafting or related discipline
