Job summary

Digital Edge (Singapore) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior Group Consolidation Accountant to lead the Group's consolidation, financial reporting and technical accounting activities.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage monthly/quarterly/annual close, intercompany eliminations and IFRS guidance, while interfacing with ERP systems and external auditors to ensure robust financial statements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, ideally combining Big4 audit/accounting advisory with commercial experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and Group consolidation.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation.
• Experience preparing technical accounting papers and consolidated financial statements.
• Experience managing external audit and complex accounting matters.
• ERP/consolidation systems; NetSuite experience would be an advantage.
• Hands-on and able to lead while reviewing complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation and reporting process.
• Review country submissions and consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.
• Lead the assessment of complex IFRS accounting matters and determine the Group position.
• Prepare and review technical accounting papers and memos.
• Develop and maintain Group accounting policies and IFRS interpretation.
• Lead the preparation of Group financial statements and disclosures.
• Manage external audit matters and significant accounting judgments.
• Review and improve the Group consolidation process, controls and timelines.
• Collaborate with Systems & Transformation to move to a system-based consolidation solution.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to Group and country finance teams.
