Job summary

Qualifications

• ITE, GCE O Level or Higher (or equivalent) required.
• Background in performing arts, theatre, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience in live shows, public speaking or entertainment roles is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, outgoing, customer-oriented.
• Pro-active, creative, resourceful and a good team.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast environment.
• Must be physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live performances aligned with themes and messaging.
• Interact confidently with diverse audiences to boost engagement.
• Maintain high professionalism, stage presence, and quality.
• Contribute to team discussions and develop new programme ideas.
• Participate in rehearsals, script development, and enhancements.
• Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity at show venues and backstages.
• Report maintenance needs to keep show venues safe.
• Represent the zoo positively in public interactions.
• Attend daily briefings and departmental meetings.
• Participate in animal presentations and programmes as performer or handler.
• Support animal husbandry duties and enrichment programmes.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
