Job summary

SGP Engineering & Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled worker to read and understand construction drawings and plans, and to set up, install, and dismantle concrete formwork and shuttering on site.

The role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling timber, plywood, and other formwork materials, ensuring formwork is properly aligned, levelled, supported, and securely fixed, and preparing formwork for columns, beams, walls, slabs, and foundations.

Qualifications

• Experience with formwork for columns, beams, and slabs.
• Ability to read drawings and ensure alignment and level.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction drawings and plans.
• Set up, install, and dismantle concrete formwork and shuttering.
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, and other formwork materials.
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, supported, and secured.
• Prepare formwork for columns, beams, walls, slabs, foundations, and other structures.
• Check dimensions and levels before concrete pouring.
• Work with steel reinforcement workers and concrete workers on site.
• Dismantle formwork safely after concrete has sufficiently set.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean.
• Follow site safety rules and proper PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or foreman.
