Job summary

Larson Maddox in Singapore seeks a compliance professional to oversee regulatory requirements for asset management, ensuring onboarding/KYC and reporting align with MAS conditions.

You will train staff, review policies, and manage regulator interactions while coordinating with external auditors on MAS-related queries and monitoring regulatory developments to keep procedures up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in asset management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Singapore; US SEC experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated team-player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, regulatory filings, onboarding/KYC, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with MAS licensing conditions.
• Review compliance manuals and guidelines.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries and audits.
• Conduct compliance training for all employees.
• Monitor and enforce compliance policies across employees.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update policies accordingly.
• Liaise with external auditors for MAS-related audit queries.
• Handle other ad-hoc compliance matters.

• Further developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to MAS licensing conditions
• Review compliance procedural manuals and guidelines.
• Managing relationships with regulatory authorities and respond to their inquiries and audits.
• Conduct compliance training for all employees.
• Monitoring and enforcing compliance policies to all relevant employees.
• Monitor changes in compliance & regulatory developments and update the Company's relevant policies and procedures accordingly.
• Liaising with external auditors for MAS related audit queries.
• Other ad-hoc compliance matters as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5-10 of experience in asset management
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Singapore. US SEC experience is a plus.
• A self-motivated team-player with the ability to work independently.
