Job summary

A venture capital firm in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Officer to manage compliance policies and liaise with regulators. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the Fund/Asset Management industry, a strong understanding of the regulatory framework, and excellent communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential compliance training and solutions while keeping the firm aligned with regulatory requirements. Our client is a venture capital fund with a strong track record in the region. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a Compliance officer and the role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with regulators on regulatory requirements and compliance filing
• Manage and update the firm’s compliance policies and framework
• Work with other teams on KYC/AML review on investors, CRS/FATCA filingli>
• Keep track of new regulatory development and provide updates to the firm
• Identify any potential compliance issues and provide solutions to the business
• Update and advise the management on compliance issue and ensure the firm is in line with the regulatory standard and requirements
• Provide compliance training and updates to the firm’s employees
• Participate in compliance projects when necessary

Skills / experience requirements

• At least three years of Compliance experience in Fund / Asset Management industry
• Exposure Venture Capital / Private Equity industry is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or other tertiary qualification
• Strong understanding of regulatory framework
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Meticulous, diligent, motivated
