Job summary

Monee, a Southeast Asia digital payments and financial services provider, invites a motivated student or recent graduate to join as an AML/CFT Compliance Intern. You will review customer profiles, assist in transaction monitoring, and help prepare regulatory documents under supervision.

Gain hands-on exposure to audits, policy development, and regulatory inquiries while learning from a team dedicated to strengthening compliance culture across Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree with strong academic results; graduation by July 2027.
• Internship experience in compliance, audit, or financial services is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to liaise with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing customer profiles, transaction monitoring alerts, and escalated cases.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing/possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics,or other related fields at a reputable university with strong academic credentials/results, expected to graduate by July 2027 and join us by August 2027
• Prior internship experience in compliance, audit, or financial services is a plus
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to liaise effectively with different stakeholders
• Organised, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
