Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in any discipline.
• 4+ years' experience in compliance, enforcement, case management or systems work.
• Familiarity with the Companies Act is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities; able to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Growth mindset, self-driven and a good team player; adaptable.
• Familiarity with digital tools, design thinking and data analytics will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Director in the strategic oversight and operational delivery of compliance functions.
• Drive voluntary compliance in the statutory filing of corporate and financial information by business entities in accordance with the Companies Act and other Acts administered by ACRA.
• Analyse compliance data and filing trends to develop and execute targeted strategies that promote regulatory awareness and deter non-compliance.
• Drive engagement and outreach with stakeholders to educate them on regulatory requirements, process changes, and best practices.
• Assess and initiate enforcement actions against recalcitrant entities that fail to comply with their statutory filing obligations.
• Lead specification and requirements gathering for IT system changes across entity structures, translating business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications and conducting UAT.
• Review and process appeals against enforcement actions per legislative and regulatory requirements within service standards.
