Job summary

ACRA - Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority is seeking professionals to investigate corporate offences across corporate laws and provide information support during court proceedings. You will review representations, attend inquiries, and conduct field investigations to verify entity existence.

Ideal candidates have legal or finance training, at least 3 years in investigations, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently with analytical rigor.

Qualifications

• Professional training preferably in Law, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance/Economics with knowledge of corporate laws.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in investigation.
• Good writing and communication skills to facilitate investigations and relevant reports.

Responsibilities

• Investigate common corporate offences under applicable legislation through public feedback.
• Conduct prosecution or assist during court proceedings with information support.
• Review representations and make recommendations on appeals, fines, or withdrawal of cases.
• Attend enquiries from stakeholders via correspondence, phone and face-to-face interviews.
• Conduct field investigations and inspections to verify entity existence and gather information.
• Develop system enhancements and collaborate with external vendors to gather requirements.
• Adhere to ad-hoc staff duties as assigned by supervisor.
