This role suits professionals passionate about digital assets, tokenization, and Web3, providing exposure to risk management, policy development, and regulatory reporting within a regulated exchange environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or related discipline.
  • ACAMS, ICA or similar compliance qualifications are advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of compliance/AML/CFT experience in financial institutions, fintech, or regulated entities.
  • Familiarity with MAS regulations and the SFA.
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the compliance framework per MAS regulations, SFA and applicable requirements.
  • Assist in AML/CFT programme execution, due diligence, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
  • Draft, review and enhance compliance policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Support regulatory reporting, risk assessments and incident tracking.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, and respond to regulatory information requests.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Associate/Manager to join our Compliance team. You will play a key role in supporting DigiFT's compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and helping foster a strong culture of compliance across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for compliance professionals who are passionate about financial regulation, digital assets, blockchain technology, and the evolving regulatory landscape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regulatory Compliance
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of DigiFT's compliance framework in accordance with MAS regulations, the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory obligations and ensuring business activities remain compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in the execution and monitoring of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) programme.
  • Support customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity investigations where required.
  • Assist with periodic AML/CFT reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and enhancing compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory and policy changes across the business.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and records to ensure regulatory readiness.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and escalating compliance risks.
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports, management information, and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor compliance incidents and assist in tracking remediation efforts.
Regulatory Change Management
  • Monitor regulatory developments relevant to digital assets, capital markets, AML/CFT, and financial services.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes and support updates to internal frameworks and procedures.
Compliance Training & Advisory
  • Support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory and policy requirements.
Audit & Regulatory Inspections
  • Assist in coordinating internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Prepare documentation and facilitate responses to audit and regulatory information requests.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent compliance-related qualifications, along with knowledge in blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, and Web3 ecosystems, are highly advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT, risk, audit, or regulatory experience within a financial institution, fintech, capital markets firm, or regulated entity.
  • Prior experience in a CMS-licensed entity, digital asset service provider, exchange, brokerage, or fintech environment will be viewed favourably.
  • Familiar with MAS regulations, the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), and related financial regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
