Job summary

You will support best-practice procedures, coordinate with vendors and Shared Services, and participate in QA reviews to drive continuous improvement in complex A&H claims with strong teamwork in the office.

Qualifications

• Holds BCP, PGI and HI.
• Intermediate specialist knowledge in A&H technical claims topics.
• Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
• Basic knowledge of legal/regulatory and litigation/procedural requirements.
• Good communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Time management – ability to manage & prioritize workload.
• Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing key claims handling enquiry; coverage determination, quantum analysis and legal liability assessment within authority limits.
• Ensuring effective vendor and litigation management on Complex claims within a personal allocation.
• Broader internal/external stakeholder communication where required.
• Strive for continuous improvement on claim file handling through QA processes.
• Contribute to maintenance of best practice procedures for A&H intermediate to high value Complex claims.
• Manage Third Party Administrators to ensure adherence to claims handling guidelines.
