Job summary

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, programme coordination, and support for social cohesion, with interactions across religious and community organisations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in community work, strong English communication, and solid MS Office and data/finance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience working with community groups.
• Experience with NGOs, VWOs or government agencies is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in English; mother tongue languages/dialects are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engage religious and community organisations to strengthen relationships and communication channels.
• Plan and implement community initiatives to support needs of religious and community-based organisations.
• Develop stakeholder partnerships with government agencies, grassroots organisations and private-sector partners to promote social cohesion.
• Coordinate engagement programmes and events, including dialogues, learning journeys and national-level initiatives.
• Support and evaluate engagement initiatives, including programme administration, funding support and tracking outcomes.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented professional with strong stakeholder engagement and programme coordination skills to drive community initiatives, strengthen partnerships and support social cohesion.

• ASAP; 2 year contract with bonuses (up to 3 months in 2 years)
• Subject to renewal
• Working Location: Central
• Mon - Fri, office hours *Subject to operational needs*
• Up to $4,300 per month

What to expect:

• Engage religious and community organisations to strengthen relationships and establish effective communication channels.
• Plan and implement community initiatives to support the needs of religious and community-based organisations.
• Develop stakeholder partnerships with government agencies, grassroots organisations and private-sector partners to promote social cohesion.
• Coordinate engagement programmes and events, including dialogues, learning journeys and national-level initiatives.
• Support and evaluate engagement initiatives, including programme administration, funding support and tracking outcomes to enhance overall effectiveness and impact.

Who we are looking for:

• Singaporeans only.
• Possesses minimum a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience working with community groups; experience with NGOs, VWOs or government agencies is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with good spoken and written English; proficiency in mother tongue languages/dialects is an advantage.
• Strong data, financial and Microsoft Office skills.
• Positive, adaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Passionate about building and strengthening community relationships and comfortable working with stakeholders and volunteers.
