Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore seeks a Communications Coordinator to support the Constituency Office in driving external and internal communications, producing content for audiences and channels, and amplifying messages through CO networks. You will work with the PA HQ Communications Group and volunteers to develop content and monitor media.

You will also help form GROs to promote social cohesion and community bonding, coordinating with partners and managing digital assets and translations where needed.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in communications and social media.
• Strong writing ability in English; Mandarin/Malay/Tamil knowledge is a plus.
• Able to curate content and manage online communities.
• Willingness to work with volunteers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop the CO's annual communications plan aligned with PA objectives.
• Curate an archive of community stories and photographs.
• Grow the CO's social media presence and manage digital assets.
• Collaborate with PAHQ and volunteers to amplify content.
• Monitor media and online conversations, and prepare reports.
• Oversee marketing materials and ensure brand/content quality; translate where needed.
• Understand local demographics and develop engagement programmes.
• Facilitate formation of GROs and local communication channels/networks.
• Work with partners to grow local demographic networks; communicate policies and gather feedback.
• Plan recruitment and governance for GROs to ensure representation; manage procurement and compliance.
