Job description

The Communications Executive supports ISCA’s branding and communications efforts by planning, creating, and executing high-quality written content across digital and offline platforms. This role is responsible for driving social media engagement, producing newsletters, and supporting organisation-wide communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. SocialMedia Management

  • Plan, schedule, and manage content across ISCA’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Develop weekly/monthly social calendars aligned with brand and business priorities
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all materials
  • Track performance and optimise content based on analytics, trends, and audience behaviour
  • Live-coverage support for key events when needed

2. Newsletters Management

  • Support the creation of weekly newsletters
  • Draft copy, curate content, refine narratives, and structure newsletters for clarity and impact
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather updates, content, and key highlights

3. Branding & Communications

  • Support the development of communication materials that reinforce ISCA’s brand positioning
  • Ensure alignment with ISCA’s brand guidelines and communication standards
  • Support branding initiatives across events, campaigns, and strategic programmes
Requirements
  • Diploma or above in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related disciplines; fresh graduates with strong media skills are welcome.
  • Good understanding of branding, messaging, and communications strategies
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Collaborative and motivated team player
  • Proficiency in English, with strong writing and copyediting skills. A good command of the Chinese language (spoken and written) would be advantageous
  • Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Canva, Adobe Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, would be advantageous
  • Deep understanding of major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and how each works
  • Knowledge of platform algorithms, trends, and best posting practices
  • Knowledge of branding, messaging, and communication principles
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a good command of English; Chinese proficiency is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Canva; Adobe Suite and basic video editing are beneficial
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Creative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
