Job summary

CITIC Commodities Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Trade Operations Analyst to support traders by preparing trade summaries, drafting contracts, and inputting full transaction details into the business system to ensure position accuracy.

You will monitor shipments, inventories, AR/AP, and handle documents, customs clearance, delivery and settlement under contracts while liaising with ports, freight forwarders, surveyors and internal teams to ensure inland transport and local delivery of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above required.
• 3–5 years of trade operations experience; commodities trading preferred.
• Familiarity with UCP600, FOSFA and bulk agricultural commodity trading.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for stakeholder liaison.
• Strong time management and well-organised; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist traders in preparing trade summaries and drafting contracts; input full transaction details into the business system to ensure position accuracy.
• Monitor shipment, inventory, accounts receivable and payable; handle shipment documents, customs clearance, delivery and settlement under contracts.
• Liaise daily with ports, freight forwarders, local surveyors and internal warehousing & logistics team to ensure inland transportation and local delivery of imported cargo.
• Conduct P&L reconciliation and support cash flow forecasting.
• Support new business development of the department and provide operational support.
• Participate in testing for the company’s new internal business system projects.
• Cooperate with various functional departments and provide required business information upon request.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
