Job summary

The Resolute Hunter Pte Ltd. is seeking a Junior Trader with at least 2 years of physical trading experience in agricultural products or related commodities. You will support futures trading, research markets, and coordinate physical contracts while ensuring timely settlement and reporting.

Ideal candidates are analytical, proactive, and capable of coordinating with internal teams to manage payments, shipments and trade documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of physical trading experience in commodities, agricultural goods or freight.
• Motivated, resourceful, independent and highly analytical with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute futures trading positions.
• Research potential markets, networks and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate physical purchase/sales contracts and ensure smooth trade operations.
• Manage payment schedules and generate trade reports including P&L and MTM.
• Track shipping/vessel schedules and liaise with Operations, Finance and Treasury.

THE COMPANY

Fervent focus in their market, the company is looking to expand their foothold in their establishment. They seek for a Junior Trader- Agricultural products who will like to be part of this exciting strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support/Execute futures trading positions
• Research on potential markets/new clientele or networks or pricing etc.
• Ensure smooth trade operations/coordinate physical purchase/sales contracts executions
• Deal with payment schedules
• Prepare trade reports including P&L and MTM reports
• Track shipping/vessel schedules/delivery with operations/traders
• Liaise with internal stakeholders e.g. Operations, Finance and Treasury etc.
• Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics Commerce/ or any other relevant education
• Minimum 2 years of Physical trading experience in Commodities, Agricultural or Freight
• Motivated, resourceful, independent, highly analytical and proactive
