Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for automated test equipment, conduct EMC and power integrity verification, and select components such as servo drives and sensors.

You will prepare BOMs and wiring specifications, and collaborate with assembly and commissioning teams, including travel to China for training if required. A Bachelor's in EE or related field and 3–5 years of design experience are essential; proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of electrical design experience in precision automation equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor or optical test equipment development is an advantage.
• Proficient in EPLAN or CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for automated test equipment, including control circuits and power distribution.
• Conduct EMC and power integrity simulations and verification for system stability.
• Select electrical components including industrial controllers, servo drives, sensors and power modules.
• Prepare electrical BOMs, wiring specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with assembly and commissioning teams on prototype wiring and testing.
• Develop electrical design documentation and process specifications.
• Provide technical support to overseas manufacturing teams on electrical improvements.

Location: Science Park II, Singapore
Salary: Up to $10,000 Basic + $400 Monthly Allowances
Department: R&D, CPO

Job Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for automated test equipment, including control circuits, power distribution, signal conditioning and servo drives.
• Conduct EMC and power integrity simulations and verification to ensure system stability and performance.
• Select electrical components, including industrial controllers, servo drives, sensors and power modules.
• Prepare electrical BOMs, wiring specifications and technical documentation.
• Work with assembly and commissioning teams on prototype wiring, power-on testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Develop electrical design documentation and process specifications.
• Provide technical support to the Malaysia manufacturing team on electrical process improvements and production-related issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of electrical design experience in precision automation equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor or optical test equipment development is an advantage.
• Proficient in electrical design software such as EPLAN or CAD.
• Familiar with industrial control systems, servo motion control and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT or Profinet.
• Good understanding of EMC design principles and specifications.
• Experience in high-speed signal test equipment or motion control system development is advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate with overseas component suppliers.
• Willing to travel to China for training during the initial employment period, if required.
