Job summary

Food Evolution – Wholesome Choice Concept Pte Ltd is inviting applications for a kitchen-based role at our Central Kitchen (Tai Seng). Working Monday to Friday, Singaporeans are welcomed. The role requires hands-on cooking, strict hygiene, stock checks and adherence to SOPs to deliver quality menu items.

You will handle food preparation, monitor storage conditions, and maintain cleanliness and safety of all kitchen areas and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of kitchen experience.
• Good knowledge of food handling, food preparation and cooking procedures for a specific station.
• Ability to maintain high levels of hygiene and order in work area including chiller and freezer.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene regulations and following company quality standards.
• Diploma in pastry & bakery will be advantages.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of menu items and standard preparation methods according to SOP.
• Prepare and cook according to the production schedule or as instructed by the superior.
• Cook and prepare items in a timely manner.
• Monitor production to ensure recipes and specifications are followed.
• Ensure proper storage at appropriate temperatures for all food and items.
• Check quantity, quality and expiry dates of received goods per company guidelines.
• Assist to monitor stock levels.
• Maintain good personal hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness of work area and kitchen tools.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
