Income Insurance Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines underwriter to manage a profitable portfolio. You will assess risks, apply guidelines, and provide technical advice to intermediaries and clients.

You will engage with internal teams and external partners, drive business growth, and ensure adherence to governance and CPD requirements. The role requires strong time management and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Commercial Lines Insurance industry.
• Ability to multi-task whilst under pressure.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Insurance certifications CGI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and assess Commercial Lines risks per guidelines to secure profitability.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive business and deliver client value.
• Provide technical advice on commercial line products to intermediaries and clients.
• Support marketing efforts and manage portfolio relationships with intermediaries.
• Ensure CPD hours are met and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to risk and compliance guidelines to maintain governance.
• Drive business growth while monitoring budgets and profitability.
• Ensure timely turnaround to maintain speed to market.
