Job Overview

Lead the development of cost estimates by translating technical specifications and drawings into competitive and commercially sound pricing. Build and validate detailed estimates across labour, materials, and subcontractors to support winning project strategies. Partner cross-functionally with Project and Procurement teams to challenge assumptions and optimise cost positions. Contribute to pricing of variation works and gain hands-on exposure to real commercial negotiations and decision-making. Ideal for high-potential fresh graduates and early-career professionals seeking accelerated growth into commercial, contract management, and strategic pricing roles.

Job Responsibilities

• Translate technical specifications and drawings into competitive cost estimates.
• Build and validate detailed estimates across labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Partner with Project and Procurement teams to challenge assumptions and optimise cost positions.
• Contribute to pricing of variation works and participate in commercial negotiations.

Job Requirements

• Preferably a degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related disciplines).
• Proactive team player with strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of managing data, reporting and commercial documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen interest in commercial functions such as estimating, costing, contract management and billing.
• Relevant exposure in Engineering, Operations and/or Project Management is advantageous and may be considered for accelerated progression or higher-level roles.

Working Location and Hours

Working Location: Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Tuas Boulevard Yard, Singapore 637051 (Islandwide transport provided).
