Digital Edge Data Center, headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support customer contracting and commercial matters. You will draft, review and negotiate agreements with hyperscalers and major customers, and collaborate with sales, operations, finance and technical teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

The role requires 8–12 PQE in commercial contracting, with English proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with admission to practice law in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
• 8–12 years PQE in commercial contracting.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin or other Asian languages is a plus.
• In-house experience with hyperscalers or data center contracts is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts and SLAs with hyperscale and major customers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks in commercial transactions.
• Provide legal opinions on regulatory compliance matters including data privacy, cybersecurity, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor industry developments and provide updates and guidance to the organization on relevant legal issues and best practices.
• Manage outside counsel and legal service providers as needed to support the company's legal needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing legal policies, procedures, and templates to streamline contracting across the organization.
