Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is assisting a leading energy storage terminal on Jurong Island to recruit a Commercial Analyst for the Commercial & Business Development team.

The role reports to the Head of Commercial & Business Development and focuses on enhancing revenue, pricing strategy, and deal support. The candidate will conduct market research across oil & gas, renewables and storage terminals, build robust financial models, and produce management reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or comparable field.
• At least 5 years in business analysis and/or strategy, preferably in petrochemical/oil & gas/energy sector.
• Strong analytics with experience in market research and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Enhance commercial performance by analyzing revenue and operations to guide pricing decisions and assist in commercial deal negotiations.
• Carry out market research across relevant industries (oil & gas, renewables, storage terminals) and convert findings into actionable strategies.
• Build and upkeep financial models used to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Produce management reports covering commercial results, customer performance summaries, investment proposals, marketing collateral, and slide presentations.
• Support marketing and business development efforts, including special projects as needed.

Our client is an energy storage terminal, delivering secure, efficient and reliable storage solutions for the energy industry.. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Commercial Analyst to join their Commercial and Business Development team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

They are located in Jurong Island – company transport provided from Jurong East MRT.

Role Overview:

This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance commercial performance by analyzing revenue and operational data to guide pricing decisions and assist in commercial deal negotiations
• Carry out market research across relevant industries (such as oil and gas, renewables, storage terminals, etc.) and convert findings into practical, actionable strategies

Candidate Requirements:

Education: A degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable field is highly desirable.

Experience: At least 5 years in business analysis and/or strategy, preferably gained within the petrochemical, oil & gas, shipping, or wider energy sector. Familiarity with oil & gas commercial operations or energy markets is a notable plus. Demonstrated strength in analytics, with a track record of interpreting complex data, performing market research, and constructing financial models.
