Job summary

Delta Capita is seeking an experienced Collateral & Margining Analyst to support a front-to-back collateral function in a fast-paced global markets environment. The role emphasizes daily margining activities, control enhancements, and data quality improvements with a time-sensitive workflow.

The successful candidate will handle margining across OTC derivatives, repo, and prime products, validate margin calls, and work with trading and risk teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in collateral / margining within investment banking or financial markets
• Strong knowledge of CSA / GNA agreements and margining across OTC derivatives, repo, and/or prime brokerage products
• Experience with margin call calculations, disputes, and reconciliations
• Understanding of collateral lifecycle, settlements, and control frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and controls in a fast-paced environment

The role focuses on daily margining activities, control enhancement, and improving data quality and validation processes, operating within a high-touch and time-sensitive workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily collateral margining activities across OTC derivatives, repo, and/or prime products
• Calculate, validate, and reconcile margin calls, disputes, and settlements
• Investigate and resolve margin discrepancies and breaks with internal stakeholders and counterparties
• Strengthen operational controls and governance, including exception tracking and escalation
• Support and enhance data validation and control frameworks upstream of margining
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement remediation actions
• Engage with trading, risk, treasury, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate processing

Key Requirements

1–2 years’ experience in collateral / margining within an investment banking or financial markets environment

• Strong working knowledge of:
• CSA / GNA agreements
• Margining across OTC derivatives, repo, and/or prime brokerage products
• Experience with margin call calculations, dispute management, and reconciliations
• Understanding of collateral lifecycle, settlements, and control frameworks
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and control enhancement initiatives
• Ability to manage complex portfolios and high-volume workflows
