Job summary

II-VI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Sandblaster to perform sandblasting on coating equipment and tooling, removing paint, dirt, grease, and surface build-up. The role requires operating blast booth equipment and maintaining a clean sandblasting area in a strict safety environment.

Candidates should have secondary education or 1 year of manufacturing experience; NITEC holders are welcome. The job is 100% onsite with a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays, and

In this job you will be responsible for performing sandblasting operations on coating equipment and tooling, including the removal of paint, dirt, grease, and surface build-up. Operates and maintains blast booth equipment, prepares evaporation materials, and ensures the sandblasting area meets all cleanliness and safety standards. All tasks must be performed in accordance with established work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite
• Comfortable to work in a clean room environment
• High noise level and continuous standing and bending.
• Some chemical exposure.
• Willing to work 12hour rotating shift including weekend and public holiday.
• *PPE: Required to wear tight-fit respirator when necessary and safety rule.
• Handle radioactive material (ThF₄). NEA R1 license required.
