Job summary

National Parks Board is seeking a dedicated professional to plan and deliver coastal protection projects to strengthen Singapore’s coastal resilience. You will integrate conventional engineering with Nature-based Solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with government agencies and contractors.

The role involves feasibility studies, environmental assessments, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage coastal engineering projects including geotechnical and infrastructure works.
Develop integrated coastal protection solutions with conventional and Nature-based approaches.
Coordinate and integrate works with adjacent parkland.
Conduct and review feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
Evaluate options and propose practical, cost-effective civil/coastal solutions.
Prepare project estimates, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate tender processes and review tender requirements.
Review designs and submissions by consultants and contractors.
Manage consultancy and construction works to meet budget, schedule and quality.
Engage with government agencies, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
