Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a skilled machinist for CNC Milling and Turning operations. The ideal candidate should have at least an NTC 2 qualification or equivalent experience, and be able to work independently and in shifts. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, machine operation, and maintaining quality standards. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum NTC 2 or good machining experience required.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and operate CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Milling or Turning Machines accurately.
• Perform job setups and maintain product quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular checks using measuring tools.

• Perform work on the CNC Milling or Turning Machine
• Able to interpret technical drawing and specification
• Able to perform work/job setup and operate on CNC Turning Machine
• Able to check the dimension using basic measuring tools (eg. Vernice and Micrometre)
• Perform daily 5S, maintaining product quality and safety standards

Job Requirements

• Minimum NTC 2 or with good machining experience
• Able to rotate shift work
• Experience in operating on CNC Milling or Turning Machine
• Able to understand and execute instruction given accurately
• Able to work independently and self-motivate
• Positive working attitude and teamwork
