MCITS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a Cloud Engineer Specialist (L3) to architect, deploy, and support hybrid cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients. The role emphasizes private cloud with Cohesity DataProtect and NetBackup, plus public cloud layers on AWS and Azure.

As SME, you’ll optimize VMware vSphere/vCenter driven environments and collaborate across networking, storage, and security domains to ensure robust data protection and cross-environment resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• 10+ years of IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 5+ years in an L3/Senior capacity.
• 8+ years of design, deployment, and optimization using Cohesity DataProtect and Veritas NetBackup.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and support hybrid cloud infrastructure for clients.
• Lead private-to-public cloud frameworks centered on VMware vSphere/vCenter.

Job description

We are seeking an elite Cloud Engineer Specialist (L3) to architect, deploy & implement, and technical support management of our clients hybrid cloud infrastructure. This advanced Tier-3 engineering role demands equal technical mastery across software-defined On-Premise Private Clouds and scale-out Public Cloud multi-tenant architectures specializing in Cohesity Data Cloud platform and Netbackup On-prem/Public Cloud solutions.

As as Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will build and optimize unified private-to-public cloud frameworks centering on VMware vSphere & vCenter, integrated seamlessly with AWS and Azure. A fundamental requirement of this position is safeguarding enterprise data estate integrity by engineering resilient, cross-environment data protection fabrics utilizing Cohesity DataProtect and Veritas NetBackup Enterprise solutions and Kubernates.

Required Skills & Qualifications (L3 Target)

Technical Expertise:

• Data Protection: 8+ years of active design, deployment, and optimization experience utilizing Cohesity DataProtect and Veritas NetBackup spanning hybrid systems.
• Virtualization: Deep expert knowledge of VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, hyper-converged nodes (HCI), and top-tier enterprise storage systems (e.g., Dell, HPE, NetApp, Pure).
• Public Cloud: Hands-on experience engineering infrastructure layers natively inside AWS and Azure.
• Networking: Strong mastery of hybrid routing concepts, BGP, TCP/IP, core DNS setups, cloud-native load balancers, and virtual firewall policies.
  
• Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Experience Level: 10+ years of total IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 5+ years acting strictly in an L3/Senior technical infrastructure capacity.

• Preferred Certifications

• Data Protection: Cohesity Certified Professional (CCP) / Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) in NetBackup.

• Private Cloud: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP).

• Public Cloud: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
