Job summary

Centific Global Solutions (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Leader to oversee large-scale server fleets across cloud environments, driving automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with cloud providers and cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex infra challenges. The role requires 5+ years in cloud infra operations, strong leadership, and expertise in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure operations or large-scale infra environments.
• Strong leadership and decision-making in high-pressure ops.
• Excellent English; Mandarin preferred.
• Experience with public clouds and automation tooling.

About Job Description

• Lead cloud infrastructure operations and large-scale server fleet management activities across cloud environments.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for large-scale infrastructure incidents, cloud operational issues, and service-impacting events.
• Collaborate with cloud providers and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve operational challenges and improve infrastructure reliability.
• Manage and optimize operational data platforms, infrastructure tracking systems, and reporting mechanisms.
• Design, improve, and standardize automation workflows, operational tooling, and provisioning pipelines using scripting or infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Drive operational process standardization, documentation quality, workflow optimization, and service improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers, delegate operational tasks, and support technical growth across the team.
• Drive knowledge-sharing programs and ensure operational cross-training within the organization.
• Monitor operational workloads, on-call activities, escalation handling, and incident resolution efficiency.
• Review operational reports, track infrastructure performance metrics, and identify operational bottlenecks or risks.
• Host operational meetings, conduct 1-on-1 discussions, and provide leadership updates or operational summaries.
• Review operational scheduling, workload planning, and resource coordination activities.
• Support cloud vendor governance and operational relationship management.
• Lead other cloud infrastructure operational management initiatives as required.

Service Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, server operations, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure operational environments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in English; Mandarin is preferred.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure operations, server lifecycle management, and large-scale operational ecosystems.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Google, or Microsoft.
• Strong experience with automated provisioning technologies, bare metal lifecycle management, and infrastructure deployment pipelines.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Shell, Python, or infrastructure APIs.
• Familiarity with automation and infrastructure management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, or cloud SDKs.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and infrastructure diagnostic capabilities.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, IPv6, routing, and cloud networking architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, incident management, operational governance, and service reliability initiatives.
• Strong documentation, workflow standardization, and operational process management capabilities.
• Experience supporting GPU infrastructure, large-scale AI clusters, firmware lifecycle management, or RDMA networking is highly preferred.
• Experience leading cloud operational programs, vendor management, or infrastructure transformation initiatives is preferred.
