Job summary

PCSS is seeking a Cloud Operations and Maintenance (Security) Specialist to oversee cybersecurity system maintenance, vulnerability management, and security audits. The role involves monitoring tools, coordinating with vendors, and documenting incidents and procedures to protect critical systems.

The candidate should have 5+ years in cyber security or IT security operations, a degree in a related field, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and lead engineers on Day 1 and Day 2

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• ≥5 years of experience in cyber security maintenance or IT security operations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to lead a team of engineers for Day 1 and Day 2 operations.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity System Maintenance.
• Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS.
• Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation.
• Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure.
• Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of cybersecurity environment.
