Job summary

VeSync is seeking a Cloud Engineering Manager to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our cloud platform. You will drive stability, security, efficiency, and cost across regions while combining hands-on ownership with team leadership.

Responsibilities include planning and optimizing cloud operations, automating processes, and mentoring a team of cloud engineers to deliver reliable infrastructure for R&D and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 7+ years of cloud infra/ops experience with 2+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud a plus.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Familiar with observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of security/compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Proven cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Strong incident management with RCAs and post-mortems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication; distributed regional teams.
• Willing to participate in on-call rotation; Mandarin fluency a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, build-out, and optimization of cloud platform operations.
• Drive automation and intelligent operations through research findings.
• Ensure platform stability and efficiency as it scales.
• Own day-to-day operations of production, testing, and development.
• Establish maintenance procedures to quickly detect and resolve issues.
• Provide a reliable infrastructure foundation for R&D and business teams.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align cloud ops with needs.
