Job summary

Razer (Asia-Pacific) Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to customize OpenStack, develop web and API services, and integrate cloud solutions across platforms.

You will work on performance optimizations, security, and compliance while collaborating with a global team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cloud computing, strong Python/JavaScript skills, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing and software development.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly OpenStack.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.) and web frameworks.
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Platform Customization: Customize and extend the OpenStack platform or a similar cloud computing platform to meet specific business requirements.
• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and test web applications to manage and monitor cloud services.
• API Development: Develop RESTful APIs to expose cloud services to third-party applications.
• Cloud Service Integration: Integrate cloud services with other systems and applications.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyse system performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
