Job summary

Exasoft Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.

The role focuses on availability, performance, and reliability across AWS and Azure environments, with emphasis on automation and IaC. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain secure and well-documented cloud platforms. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related.
2–3 years in cloud operations, cloud infrastructure, or similar technical role.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and resource management.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Understanding of cloud security, including access controls, encryption, and security best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
Nice to have exposure to Python libraries (Pandas, PySpark) and frameworks like React or Flask.
Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure and services.
Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance: patching, upgrades, backups, system updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infra, connectivity, and performance issues.
Support automation and configuration management initiatives.
Use scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
Monitor logs, alerts, and performance metrics; address issues proactively.
Maintain cloud security controls, access management, and data protection.
Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams on cloud apps.
Maintain technical documentation for cloud environments, processes, configurations, and issues.
Participate in on-call or production support when required.
