Job summary

BGC GROUP PTE. LTD. is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the operations, administration and continuous improvement of an Enterprise Application Integration platform in a government technology environment.

You will design, deploy and maintain secure cloud-native backend infrastructure on AWS. You will also build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions, manage CI/CD pipelines, and support cloud networking, security, routing, load balancing, DNS and connectivity.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct AWS administration experience.
• 1-2 years of DevOps/DevSecOps pipeline experience.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container services (EKS/ECR).
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, VPC, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Understanding cloud security scanning and infrastructure hardening.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues.

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the operations, administration and continuous improvement of an Enterprise Application Integration platform in a government technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and optimise DevOps or DevSecOps pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment
• Manage AWS services and infrastructure including EKS, ECR, S3, Lambda, VPC, networking and connectivity
• Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes and Helm
• Apply security scanning, infrastructure hardening and cloud security best practices
• Monitor platform performance and establish feedback loops for reliability improvement
• Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of direct experience implementing or administering systems on AWS
• 1-2 years of direct experience implementing or administering DevOps or DevSecOps pipelines
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm or AWS container services such as EKS and ECR
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, VPC, API Gateway, RDS or DynamoDB
• Understanding of cloud security scanning, compliance controls and infrastructure hardening
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to different audiences
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline

Contract Details

• Employment type: Full-time contract
• Contract duration: 24 months
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm
• Salary: Up to S$6000 per month, subject to confirmation
