Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to design, implement, and secure scalable platform services for government-grade data integration.

You will build and maintain infra, onboard agencies with secure connectivity, configure API connectors, monitor pipelines, and handle incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Infra Eng, Platform Eng, or Sys Admin.
• Experience with API integrations, ETL/ELT platforms, or data connectors.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and proxies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and integration issues.

What You'll Do

• Build, configure, and maintain platform infrastructure and integrations.
• Onboard government agencies by enabling secure connectivity and data integration.
• Configure API-based connectors and monitor data ingestion pipelines.
• Manage platform operations, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across network, authentication, and application layers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable platform services.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration.
• Experience with API integrations, ETL/ELT platforms, or data connectors.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and proxies.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and integration issues.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Exposure to cyber asset management platforms (e.g. Axonius, Armis, Qualys, ServiceNow CMDB).
• Familiarity with Singapore Government Cloud (GCC), WOG shared services, or cybersecurity platforms
