Job summary

FALCON IT CONSULTING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to guide a team of cloud professionals and align cloud operations with strategy. You will own incident response, DR planning, and compliance across enterprise environments.

The role requires deep cloud-native services knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and CloudFormation. You will drive automation and design patterns for high availability and resilient deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead of team of cloud engineers and provide guidance on issues resolutions
• Partner with Cloud CoE, security and application teams to align operations with cloud strategy
• Apply expert-level knowledge of cloud-native services (compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, serverless and security)
• Own and evolve operational frameworks including incident response, monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery and compliance
• Lead major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical cloud events
• Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the organisation application portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud
• Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why” and articulate several options, the pros and the cons for each, and a recommendation.
• Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends and technology.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory frameworks (MAS TRM)
• Proven hands‑on experience in designing, deploying in AWS cloud.
• Lead cloud security operations in collaboration with security teams.
• Drive automation‑first operations through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications.
• Conduct technical deep dives, operational reviews and incident postmortems
• Oversee patch management, vulnerability remediation, IAM governance and policy enforcement
