Job summary

QUESS SINGAPORE is hiring a Network Engineer to manage day-to-day operation and administration of network and security infrastructure in Singapore. The role requires hands-on experience with firewall, switches, routers, VPN, and NAC systems, including Aruba Clearpass and Palo Alto devices.

You will monitor performance, support service requests, and implement network improvements. Candidates should have at least 3 years of network experience; CCNP/CCIE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Aruba Clearpass (NAC).
• Experience in firewall, switches, and load balancers.
• Must be able and willing to work after office hrs. if required.
• CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years relevant Network experience.

Key Requirements:

• Responsible for day-to-day Operation and administration of network and security infrastructure.
• Experience in firewall, switches, routers, proxy, load balancers, NAC, Wireless, remote access (VPN)
• Knowledge in managing Alcatel switches, Aruba Wireless Controllers, Palo Alto firewall, Network Access Control, RSA, F5 VPN, Alteon Load Balancers.
• Knowledge in SDWAN and VxLAN
• Knowledge in Cloud infrastructure (AWS) will be an advantage.
• Experience in handling network projects.
• Minimum 3 years relevant Network experience.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Knowledge of Aruba Clearpass (NAC)

• Network +, CISSP etc. will be added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the network infrastructure
• Monitor the network performance (bandwidth usage, health of network equipment etc.) to ensure network availability and reliability.
• Support network related service requests
• Proficient in analyzing and optimizing network performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors or business partners to troubleshoot and resolve network outages, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
• Implement innovative or automation solution
• Provide standby support of network related issues
• Design and implement new network solutions and improve efficiency of current network infrastructure.
• Involve in Procuring of network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Designing, writing, and updating system documentation, assets, and network diagrams.
• Perform system upgrades including firmware, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Quickly identify and assess network incidents, troubleshoot issues, and follow established procedures to resolve or elevate problems to higher levels of support as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, service providers, including vendors to provide updates on network status and incident resolutions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the network infrastructure, including new equipment and network solutions. Continuously learning and stay updated on the latest technology, network monitoring tools, and industry best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Ensure adherence Corporate Policies and Guidelines
• Provide artifact when requested for audit purpose
• Update security policy documents (Baseline, Standard, SOE, etc.)
• Update (remove/add/delete/amend) network assets to our inventory system
• Perform wall-to-wall network asset (check network equipment mounted on the network rack)
