Job summary

Singapore Post is seeking a technically proficient professional to gather and translate business needs into detailed specifications and designs. You will shape architecture using Node.js microservices, Google Pub/Sub, and Apigee, while ensuring best practices in security and governance.

You will develop, test, and deploy code, implement cloud-native deployments, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Certifications PMP, CSM/CSPO, ITIL Foundation valued.
• 3–8 years IT experience, with analyst roles.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate complex requirements into technical specs and designs.
• Influence architecture with cloud-native components, Node.js microservices, and Apigee governance.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code and integrations per approved designs.
• Implement cloud-native apps and microservices with RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and architectural principles are followed.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling (Terraform) for automated deployments.
• Perform deep-dive investigations and root-cause analyses of defects.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes and improve stability.
• Draft robust fixes to improve resilience and performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews to enforce quality and security.
• Collaborate with QA and business users for test scenarios and UAT support.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders; maintain docs and SOPs.
