Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Singapore to design and build cloud-native data pipelines and data lakehouse solutions using Apache Iceberg. You will work with Spark, PySpark, and Open Metadata governance tools to enable scalable, real-time analytics for business stakeholders.

You'll collaborate with analysts and data scientists, migrate legacy workloads to cloud-native architectures, and contribute to automation, data quality checks, and monitoring while embracing a culture of

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Git.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
