Job summary

EXASOFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an senior infrastructure engineer with extensive cloud, virtualization, and storage experience to lead enterprise infrastructure management.

You'll configure VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters, manage multi-vendor storage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability, performance, and security across private cloud environments. The role emphasizes automation, DR readiness, and continuous improvement of operations, with exposure to Huawei

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud or enterprise infrastructure administration.
• Extensive experience with multi-vendor storage platforms: SAN, HPE 3PAR, IBM Storage, Dell EMC.
• Strong hands-on VMware vSphere/ESXi for deployment and tuning.
• Experience configuring Brocade/Cisco Fabric environments.
• Hands-on Huawei OpenStack and similar Cloud platforms.
• VM provisioning, resource allocation, migration, lifecycle management.
• Expert knowledge of cloud security, access controls, and virtual networking.
• Linux and Windows server administration.
• Backup, recovery operations and DR experience.
• Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Storage Solutions certifications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support enterprise infrastructure across private cloud and virtualized environments.
• Configure and administer virtual machines, hypervisors, and infrastructure resources to ensure stable operations.
• Support cloud deployments, infrastructure migrations, platform upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance, identify capacity constraints, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with server, network, and storage teams to maintain infrastructure availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Support backup and recovery processes and participate in disaster recovery activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring infrastructure tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and adhere to established incident, change, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise infrastructure administration.
• Extensive experience handling multi-vendor storage platforms like SAN Storage, HPE 3PAR, IBM Storage, and Dell EMC platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience in VMware vSphere and ESXi for infrastructure deployment, resource tuning, and complex environment configuration.
• Strong experience in configuring and troubleshooting Brocade Fabric and Cisco Fabric environments.
• Practical experience with Huawei OpenStack ecosystem and other similar Cloud platforms.
• Experience in virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, migration, and lifecycle management.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud security protocols, infrastructure access controls, and virtual networking topologies.
• Experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong experience in infrastructure connectivity, and backup and recovery operations.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure issues and managing planned upgrades and maintenance.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms is an advantage.
• Preferably professionally certified in Storage Solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
