Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud & Data Centre Solutions is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its North region team. You will contribute to cloud management, data centre operations, and AI/ML workload support within mission-critical environments.

You will work on virtualization platforms, Nutanix, Docker containers, and networking components, ensuring robust, secure infrastructure aligned with SLAs and business continuity requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows Server OS and Linux OS in virtualized environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms, Nutanix is a plus.
• Understanding of VPN, firewall appliances, and network switching/routing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and control the technical aspects of projects.
• Manage or participate in setting up or upgrading system/network infrastructure.
• Support operational systems to satisfy contractual SLAs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly.
• Provide project documentation and reports.
• Diagnose and rectify technical issues.

• Plan, execute, monitor and control the various Technical aspect of the Project.
• Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
• Responsible for supporting operational systems satisfying contractual Service Level Agreement
• Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively
• Provide project documentation and reports
• Diagnose and rectify technical issue

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Windows server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment would be an advantage
• Knowledge and 3 years hands‑on experience with Virtualization and Hypervisors, Nutanix platform would be an advantage
• Knowledge in VPN, firewall appliances would be an advantage
• Knowledge in network switches/routers would be an advantage
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including machine learning models, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI workloads in cloud environments
• Understanding of dockers and containerization technologies and how they support AI/ML workloads
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
• Pro‑active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
