ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Helpdesk Associate to provide frontline support for end-users, configure laptops, and ensure connectivity to systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related; fresh graduates welcomed.
• 1–3 years IT support experience is a plus.
• Familiar with Windows Server and Linux in virtualization environments.
• Experience with virtualization/hypervisors; Nutanix is an advantage.
• Knowledge of switches/routers is an advantage.
• Familiar with AI tools to support daily work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support to end-users with clear communication.
• Assist end-users in laptop setup to connect to the system.
• Provide L1 support and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Patch firmware, OS and cyber security patches for hardware (servers, routers, switches, etc.).
• Install antivirus software and keep virus definitions up to date.
• Document all reported incidents and service requests.

Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

• Provide helpdesk support to end-user through appropriate communication and responsive services.
• Assist end-users in the setup of their laptops to be able to connect to the system.
• Provide L1 support for end-users and assist in the troubleshooting of their issues.
• Carry out patching of firmware, OS and cyber security patches for hardware e.g. servers, routers, switches, as well as COTS patches
• Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
• Document all reported incidents and service requests.

Qualities We Value:

• Minimally with Diploma in IT or with a relevant course. Fresh diploma graduates are welcomed.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support is a plus
• Knowledge in Windows server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment would be an advantage
• Knowledge and 3 years hands-on experience with Virtualization and Hypervisors, Nutanix platform would be an advantage
• Knowledge in network switches/routers would be an advantage
• Familiar with AI tools used to support daily work and improve individual productivity
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
• Pro‑active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
• Able to work independently as well as in a team and good interpersonal skills
