Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on AWS cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code experience to design, implement, and automate scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads.

You will design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, develop Terraform templates, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor systems, and collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to drive reliable, secure deployments and continuous

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience including cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring).
• Proven experience in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPC design, security groups, and IAM policies.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control practices.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.) following best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain Terraform templates/modules to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable smooth application deployment and compliance alignment.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Maintain proper documentation, version control, and configuration management across environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and ongoing improvements to infrastructure automation.
