Job summary

Binance is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to manage production Kafka/Redis operations and optimize cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and leverage AI/LLM tools to automate operations and observability.

Strong scripting, containerization, and cloud experience are essential for this role. You will work in a remote-capable role with global teams, contributing to a scalable, reliable platform used by millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Kafka and Redis operations in large-scale production environments.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Java, plus SQL.
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform).
• At least 3 years on AWS; GCP/Azure/AliCloud a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing or operating AIOps and AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle production incidents and post-mortems for stability improvements.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Kafka and Redis clusters in PROD.
• Collaborate with developers for seamless deployments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, AliCloud) for performance and cost.
• Develop a DevOps platform for load testing and change management.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to enhance automation in operations.
• Integrate AI-driven insights to reduce noise and improve reliability.
