RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and automate enterprise platforms across development, staging and production environments.

You will manage virtualization, storage, and containerized workloads, implement IaC, and bolster monitoring, security, and disaster recovery capabilities with modern tooling and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience with enterprise virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and storage (SAN/NAS).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration; scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and networking concepts.
• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain critical infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production.
• Execute patching strategies with automation to minimise disruption and improve security.
• Implement platform standards and modern operational practices for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with application teams to support stability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage virtualization platforms and monitoring/observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for platform incidents and drive resolution.
• Implement IaC for provisioning and configuration management; maintain backup/DR/HA solutions.
• Enforce security controls, access management, and compliance monitoring.
• Create and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.

• Maintain critical infrastructure platforms including compute, storage, virtualisation, and supporting systems across development, staging and production environments.
• Execute platform patching strategies, leveraging automation to maintain security and stability while minimising service disruption.
• Follow and implement platform standards, executing infrastructure automation and modern operational practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support platform enhancement initiatives and implementation of new infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Manage virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), including capacity monitoring, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management.
• Implement and maintain robust monitoring and observability solutions for all platform components using modern tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for platform-related incidents, conducting problem determination and resolution.
• Support containerisation initiatives and maintain container orchestration platforms for traditional workloads where applicable.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate platform provisioning and configuration management.
• Maintain backup, DR, and high-availability solutions for critical platform components.
• Follow security controls implementation, including access management, security hardening, and compliance monitoring.

Technical Requirements

Experience and Skills Needed
