Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer – GCP in Singapore to design, build, secure, and operate enterprise GCP environments, GKE clusters, BigQuery data warehouses, and CI/CD pipelines for IBM as a client. 8–10+ years of cloud engineering, Terraform IaC, and advanced troubleshooting are required.

Detailed Job Description:

As a Cloud Engineer – GCP in Changi, Singapore, supporting IBM via Infinite Computer Solutions, you will serve as the principal technical authority responsible for driving cloud infrastructure stability, scalability, and performance. Your daily responsibilities will encompass provisioning and managing GKE clusters, architecting data pipelines using Dataproc, BigQuery, and Spark, implementing Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and operating CI/CD deployment automation. You will provide L2/L3 production support, resolve complex cloud networking and storage bottlenecks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional development and client stakeholder teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Provision, configure, and scale Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, containerized microservices, and Docker workloads.
• Build and optimize big data processing and analytics pipelines using GCP Dataproc, BigQuery, and Apache Spark.
• Implement robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning and state management using Terraform.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines to streamline software release cycles and engineering velocity.
• Provide advanced L2/L3 operational support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Configure and manage cloud security policies, IAM roles, virtual private clouds (VPCs), and firewall rules on GCP.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health, resource utilization, and cost optimization metrics across production environments.
• Collaborate proactively with IBM client teams, software developers, and platform engineering groups.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, system architecture blueprints, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, and DevOps.
• Deep hands-on professional expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core services, architecture, and deployment.
• Proven proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), containerization platforms (Docker), and orchestration.
• Strong practical experience with GCP big data and analytics tools including BigQuery, Dataproc, and Apache Spark.
• Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Hands-on background building and governing automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• Advanced L2/L3 technical troubleshooting, diagnostic, and incident resolution capabilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to operate on-site in Changi, Singapore.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
