Job summary

ACCORD INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, operate and support cloud and containerized platforms in an enterprise setting.

The role involves cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, container platforms, middleware technologies, monitoring and IT service management. The successful candidate will also contribute to the adoption and operation of emerging AI technologies and cloud-based architecture patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Programming or scripting with one or more of Java, Python, Bash, Unix Shell or PowerShell.
• Experience with middleware technologies such as WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache or Kafka.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management including incident, problem and change management.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible and Git.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging or analytics tools.
• Understanding of modern AI concepts such as RAG, agentic architectures and MCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy, configure and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation and operational scripts using Python, Java, Bash, Unix Shell and PowerShell.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise middleware platforms such as WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache and Kafka.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps automation using Jenkins, Ansible and Git.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and operational-management solutions.
• Support enterprise monitoring and analytics platforms like Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow and Geneos.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes in line with ITIL Service Management.
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and preventive actions for production issues.
• Support cloud and infrastructure automation initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions and understand architectures including RAG, agentic architectures and MCP.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security and operations teams for reliability and performance.
• Participate in production support including shift work and rotational on-call.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to stakeholders and support teams.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, operate and support cloud and containerized technology platforms in an enterprise environment.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
