Job summary

NXGEN Asia PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions in AWS or Azure, integrating with on‑prem Windows and Linux infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AD, DNS, VPNs, Terraform, and cloud security, and can support pre‑sales activities with technical proposals and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Windows, Linux, and networking.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Strong Windows/Linux server administration skills (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform or ARM templates.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Understanding cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in pre-sales architecture, proposal writing, and technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Manage Windows and Linux environments incl. AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking components incl. firewalls, VPNs, routing.
• Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible or Bash.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for migrations and hybrid environments.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Assist in pre-sales activities with proposals and client presentations.
